Concerned Youth Of Ho West Debunks Hon. Bedzrah’s False Allegations On Kessben TV
The concerned Youth of Ho West in the Volta Region have debunked some assertions made by the Honourable Member of Parliament Mr Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah on Friday 31st March 2023 on the Kessben Maakye program. The group said Hon. Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah made some unfounded allegations against them. They said, the MP made allegations that he believed some LGBTQ+ groups were sponsoring some parliamentary aspirants in the Ho West Constituency to challenge him.

Our attention has been drawn to an interview granted by the MP for the Ho West Onstituency, Hon. Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah on Kessben TV yesterday, in which he made some unfounded allegations against our group, the Concerned Youth of Ho West.
In the interview, the MP alleged that he believed some LGBTQ+ groups were sponsoring some parliamentary aspirants in the Ho West Constituency to challenge him, and also sponsoring our group to oppose his fifth term in Parliament.
We, the Concerned Youths of Ho West wish to state unequivocally to the people of Ho West, and the whole world that we are not being sponsored by any LGBTQ group, and that we have never been in contact with any such group ever.
Interestingly, our investigation after the MP’s lies on national TV revealed that the publication on which the MP had relied in making his false allegations was put on social media by the MP himself through some of his boys. The story was originally written by one of the MP’s boys, and perhaps member of his family, one Oscar Bedzrah, who pretended to be an official of ASEPA, and deliberately wrote the wicked story to help the MP’s campaign.
Our investigation revealed further that ASEPA was very upset with the said Oscar Bedzrah, who authored the story upon ASEPA first hearing of the story after its publication. The author tried later to take the publication out of the public domain until our MP, Hon. Bedzrah asked him (the author) for the story two days ago. Upon receiving the false story, Hon. Bedzrah first gave it to his boys to share in social media, and he, himself rushed to.a national TV station to grant an interview on it.
In fact, strangely enough, our checks also reveal that our MP, Hon. Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah is rather hiding behind the LGBTQIA+++ bill in parliament to extort money from some LGBTQI groups, which he intends to use to buy votes in the upcoming parliamentary primary on May 13th. We see this as a total betrayal on the part of our MP.
We think the MP’s conduct is very shameful and not befitting his honourable office. We think the MP is under intense pressure because his campaign for a fifth-term in Parliament is suffering. In his desperation and frustration, he is resorting to false publications to vilify his opponents and innocent youth of Ho West.
We, the Concerned Youth Of Ho West wish to call on the MP to retract his false allegations against us and those who are contesting him, and he must apologize to us for spreading false rumours about us.
