30-year-old prostitute arrested for allegedly trafficking a 15-year-old girl
A 30-year-old lady suspected of being a prostitute was detained in Biriwa, Mfantseman Municipality, Central Region, for trafficking a fifteen-year-old girl.
According to a report by Nana Tawiah of Kessben FM, the woman who lives in Accra and is supposedly a prostitute went to Bankyea in the Western Region’s Secondi Takoradi and went for the Child.
Abigail, the victim, is fifteen years old and a Junior High School one student.
The minor stated that she was present when the alleged prostitute came to the house and informed her that she had purchased materials for her and that she should accompany her to the seamstress for measurements, only for her to know that she was in Cape Coast.
The victim, who was crying hysterically, asked some of the passengers in the Toyota Hense with the registration number GE-3474-21 where she was and was informed she was in Mankessim.
Some of the passengers handed the suspect and victim over to the police officers on duty at the Biriwa Police Checkpoint.
