Chris Hughton signs for Ghana until 2024, His performance to determine renewal

Chris Hughton, the new Ghana coach, has signed a contract to coach the country until December 31, 2024.

George Boateng and Didi Dramani, Hughton’s assistant coaches, have both signed contracts with the Ghana Football Association.

The terms of his deal were announced at his introduction on Monday at SG Mall in Kumasi. Hughton’s performance will determine whether the contract is renewed.

Hughton has previously managed Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion. He was born in the United Kingdom to a Ghanaian father and an Irish mother and played football for Northern Ireland.
