Police are looking for a 65-year-old woman for allegedly defrauding traders at Atwima Kwanwoma
Madam Florence Manu, a 65-year-old lady purporting to be a businesswoman, is wanted by police for allegedly scamming several traders.
The victims of the suspected fraudulent act reported it to Trede police, who filed an arrest order for her.
Her most recent scam is alleged to have frauded Hanna Arhin, whom she scammed of approximately GHC15,000.
According to Kessben FM reporter Asumadu Sowah, the 65 year -old woman took about 16 bags of maize from Hanna and assured to give her money in two weeks’ time.
After the said period the old woman is nowhere to be found. After lodging a complaint to the police, other traders who have been allegedly scammed by the old woman have come out to talk about how they were also defrauded by the world woman and reported similar complaints.
