Nana Yaw Amponsah & his cohorts are just trying to divert attention after the Hearts defeat – Franko Naro

Quick-witted sports Journalist, Frank Owusu Ansah widely known as Frank Naro reckons the CEO Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah and his subordinates are trying to shift attention from the Club’s recent defeat against their bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak, with their incessant comments lately about the GFA.

The CEO of the Kumasi-based football club and some of the management members of the club have since gone on a social media rampage targeted at the Ghana Football Association on the low attendance of the Ghana premier league.

Frank Naro speaking on Kessben FM’s Midfield Action with Sir Joe Laka stressed that the management members of Kotoko are just doing everything to sway the minds of the supporters and the general public with social media posts.

The experienced sports journalist advised the management to focus their time, energy, and the resources given to them to develop Kotoko rather than virtually fighting everyone unnecessarily over their own flaws.

Following the defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak, most of the supporters have joined a clarion call for coach Seydou Zerbo to be sacked which the management appears to be reluctant to relieve him.

It’s reported that per the contract the management signed with the Burkinabe, the Kumasi-based football club will be losing thousands of dollars in compensation if they sack Zerbo.

The subject matter of the coach continues to be in the media discussions and among the fans of the club, however, the management have kept silent on that and rather than throwing shades at the GFA on social media.
