Mohammed Kudus wins Ajax’s February Goal of the Month with a Christian Atsu homage goal

Mohammed Kudus, a Ghanaian midfielder, has been selected the Ajax Goal of the Month for February 2023.

His amazing free-kick strike against Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie earned him the trophy.

On February 19, 2023, the 22-year-old scored a stunning goal in Ajax’s 4-0 victory over Sparta Rotterdam.

The goal was dedicated to the late Christian Atsu, a fellow Ghanaian footballer who unfortunately died in Turkey’s recent earthquake.

Kudus will almost certainly play in Ghana’s forthcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Black Stars will meet Angola in a doubleheader in order to qualify for the tournament early.
