We’ve constructed more roads than any government in Ghana’s history – Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo has boasted that his administration has built more roads than any other in Ghana’s history.

He stated this on the floor of parliament on March 8, 2023, when delivering the State of the Country Address (SONA).

According to the President, his government has used state funds to create both inner-city and inter-city highways around the country, a move he claims will continue to provide transportation relief to Ghanaians.

Meanwhile, some road building has come to a halt as contractors have abandoned projects due to a lack of payment for completed work and financing to continue others.
