Our management is the problem, they have been deceiving & creating divisions, they should leave with the BoD – Kojo Asante

Asante Kotoko National Circles Council’s protocol officer Kojo Asante has called the bluff of the management of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko led by Nana Yaw Amponsah.

According to Kojo Asante, the club’s major problem has been the management, who he believes has done nothing since taking over the club three years ago.

Speaking on Kessben TV’s Extra Time Sports, he emphasized that rather than focusing on things that will bring Kotoko development and prosperity, the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management continues to focus on matters that are generating splits among the BoD and the fans.

Asante claimed the management of the club always pitches the fans of the club against GFA officials, Referees, and others to cover up their flaws.

“A coach will go and a coach will come. They said referees have been cheating us. Curses and other stuff what happened to all that? You ask yourself what materials were they given.

The management did the same to Maxwell Konadu, the did same to Prosper Narteh, these coaches don’t buy the players but the management will create something in the minds of the supporters to deceive the fans and cause divisions.

It’s better for both the management and the BoD to leave the club. Look at the BoD of the club now it’s like there is no BoD, and is due to this division being created. Kotoko has now become so ordinary. Why should Kotoko players even go to a funeral ahead of a game against Accra Hearts of Oak?

We should blame the management and the BoD. Let’s just check since they took over the club where have they taken to the club to? if you say this, they will tell you branding. Branding that you have purchased a bus with supporters’ money? and every month and they will be deducting the club? Is that all?

You cannot always be fighting everyone unnecessarily. How can you always fight the very people who run our game every day and succeed? Kojo said.
