Medeama coach Umar Rabi Quits, land a top job at Right to Dream Academy Egypt
On Wednesday, Meadeama coach Umar Abdul Rabi resigned after the team’s match against Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Following his departure from the Tarkwa-based club, the 37-year-old has obtained a position at Right to Dream Academy, according to our checks.
Abdul Rabi presented his resignation letter to Medeama officials immediately following the RTU match, and it was accepted.
He led Medeama to second place in the Ghana Premier League last season and was having a good season this season until resigning. He took over from David Duncan, who was appointed at the start of the 2022-23 season.
According to sources, he will be assigned to Right to Academy Egypt in the coming days. He had spent ten years in the Ghanaian academy.
