Divisions at Kotoko: Very soon we will struggle to get 500 fans at the stadium – Solomon Ofosu Ware

Former Asante Kotoko management member Solomon Ofosu Ware is afraid in the not-too-long future if the divisions at the club are not resolved, the club can’t get even 500 supporters at their home matches.

Ofosu Ware attributed the low attendance at Kotoko games to internal club divisions, particularly among supporters.

Speaking on Kessben TV after Kotoko’s game with Bechem United at the Baba Yara stadium, the former management member of the club urged the supporters of the club to put their differences aside and support the club.

According to Ofosu Ware, some supporters of the club turn to renege their support for the team based on the kind of people running the affairs of the club, a canker that continues to damage the team.

With all the publicity made about the Kotoko fanfest ahead of the Bechem game in Kumasi, patronage of the game was as low as nothing good to write about.

Ofosu Ware stressed that if the division issues around the club are not addressed, the interest will continue to fade away.
