Boo Akufo-Addo on 6th March to make Ghanaians proud – Barker-Vormawor urges People in Volta Region
The convener of #FixTheCountry, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, has called on the people of the Volta Region to boo President Akufo-Addo when he visits the region to commemorate Ghana’s independence.
On Monday, March 6, the President, members of his government, and other dignitaries are set to fly to Ho, the Volta Regional capital, for the 66th event.
This has been rotated across the country, and this year’s edition will be hosted by the Volta Region.
The yearly ceremony commemorates Ghana’s predecessors’ efforts to obtain independence from colonial rulers several decades ago. Nonetheless, Barker-Vormawor believes it is an ideal forum for expressing Ghanaians’ outrage and suffering under the Akufo-Addo-led National Patriotic Party government.
