I regret not recording Mr Eazi when he approached me at KNUST to produce him – Joe Kole
Joe Kole, a Kumasi-based instrumentalist and music producer, has admitted that he regrets not recording Mr. Eazi when he contacted him at KNUST years ago.
The music engineer speaking on Kessben TV’s Music Plus with Mr. BoneZ divulged the MISS YOU BAD hitmaker while a student at KNUST in Kumasi approached him without money to record a song but he turned him down.
Joe stressed that he has always regretted passing over the then-unknown artist.
“There was a time Mr. Eazi, he was then a student at KNUST. That time he had no hit. He approached me and I looked down at him. I have always regretted this.
He came to me for me to record him. At that time he was in school so he did not have money. We went out to sit and talked severally. As you know these Nigerians, Said a lot of things but I did not mind him. I really regretted not recording him.
If I had recorded him that time, it would have helped me. Every time I see him I regret that. the challenges with the up-and-coming guys are not easy. You have to just do it for them and you put money off your mind so I do most of them for free for them if you recognize and appreciate later, fine” Joe Kole said.
