Sam Pyne: I will be vying for the Suame constituency NPP seat if Kyei Mensah decides not to contest

Samuel Pyne, the Metropolitan Chief Executive Officer of the Kumasi Assembly, has stated his intention to run for the Suame parliamentary seat on the New Patriotic Party ticket.

Sam Pyne speaking on Kessben FM’s Amansie Tie with Akuoko Kwarteng stressed his intention will only be put into action if the incumbent MP of Suame, Hon Osei Kyei Mensah decides not to recontest for the seat of Suame.

In a recent interview, the Suame MP and Majority Leader in Parliament stated that given his age and the number of times he has been in Parliament, it is time for him to retire.

The Mayor of Kumasi, Hon Sam Pyne is on standby waiting for the Majority leader to make it official that he won’t seek re-election.

“Yes, I have said it. I will be vying for the NPP Suame seat if Hon Osei Kyei Mensah decides not to seek for re-election. I vote at Suame. I have been there for years and I will go for the seat if Hon decides not to go for the seat again” said Sam Pyne.
