Razak Kaumpa: He told me he wanted to say something which will make him popular in the NDC party
Razak Kaumpa, the Suame Constituency Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, has been detained by police after being handed over by the party’s leadership following’s his comments to trigger violence in the 2024 General elections.
In a radio interview, the youth organizer of the Suame Constituency allegedly incited political violence.
The executives of NDC were accompanied by party supporters to the Ashanti Regional Command to the Suntreso District Command, where he is being kept.
The suspect’s statement was recorded in the presence of NDC National and Regional Executives.
He has since been arraigned to appear in court on Thursday morning.
Communication team member of the rulling New Patriotic Party, Jones Affoh Nyamesem reacting to the violent comments by Razak disclosed that Razak had apparently told him that he wanted to say something that will make him popular in the party ahead of the 2024 elections.
“You know I’m communication team member of NPP, I have been meeting him at various radio stations. He told me that he was going to say something that will make him popular in the party.
Yes, he told me that, that he knows the NDC will be coming to power in 2024 so he will say something which will make him popular in the party” He told Akuoko Kwarteng on Kessben FM.
