Police on a manhunt for robbers who attacked and shot three people in the Western Region
The police have started a manhunt for a group of thieves who, on February 1, 2023, raided a gold-buying business and shot three persons in Ntwitwina, close to Wassa Nkonya in the Western Region.
To increase security in the town and its surrounding towns, a special police force made up of officers with investigative, intelligence, and operational responsibilities has been sent.
The arrest of a few robbery suspects in the vicinity on January 28,2023, led to the development.
The four suspects were arrested by the police in a special anti-robbery operation while they were fleeing the robbery scene.
