Sorry state of the Essipong Stadium: It’s like there are no leaders in this country – Kessben Maakye crew hit out
The Essipong sports stadium which was built ahead of the 2008 African Cup of Nations in Ghana is a little over 15 years but from recent videos at the sports facility appears to be like 50 years abandoned sports stadium.
On the Wednesday edition of the Kessben Maakye Kwawassem segment, the morning show crew lamented over the poor maintenance culture of the leaders and the authorities who ought to ensure that the facility is in good shape.
From the videos shown on Kessben TV, the stadium looks more unattractive, unkept, and completely disorganized.
The crew queried whether indeed there are leaders in this country who have sat uncomfortably unconcerned for the stadium to continue to deteriorate.
The Sekondi Sports Stadium was categorized as a multi-purpose stadium in Sekondi-Takoradi, Ghana but currently cannot just be described as so.
