Hardship? Woman allegedly commits suicide with her 4-year-old son
A woman at the Ahanta West in the West Region of Ghana has allegedly ended her life with her son.
The reasons for the act are not yet fully established why the young woman decided to allegedly take her life and that of her son away.
Pictures from the scene show the son was hanged while the woman was also hanged in an uncompleted building.
Eyewitnesses have confirmed they know the woman in their neighborhood who had most often been seen on the street begging for money and food.
Many have opined that her condition might have informed her decision to have ended her life and that of her son.
Their bodies have since been transported to the Ahanta Government Hospital for a detailed autopsy examination.
