Kessben Sports declare Messi as GOOT, not the GOAT – Check Out Why (Video)
Following Argentina’s victory by winning the 2022 Qatar World Cup, the debate of who is the Greatest Footballer Ever to have lived has resurfaced globally.
Prior to Argentina’s triumph, the debate had been between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo but after Messi won the World Cup with Argentina, there has been a new twist to include Messi in the Pele and Maradona category.
Experienced sports journalist with Kessben Media, Frank Owusu Ansah AKA Franko Naro speaking on Midfield Action with Sir Joe Laka stressed that Messi can only be the Greatest of his time.
Naro underscored that for now, by virtue of Messi winning the World Cup, he can be the Greatest Of Our Time (GOOT) and cannot be attributed as the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT)
Franko Naro and Andy Kerm reckon for the GOAT category Messi has still not come close to Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pele.
