Ashanti Region : NPP Recognises And Rewards Hard Work-Samira To TESCON
HAJIA SAMIRA Bawumia, Wife of the Vice President has encouraged members of the Tertiary Students Confederacy of the NPP (TESCON), to show commitment to the course of the NPP just as they had done in previous times.
She noted that the NPP rewards hard work and those who have opportunity to serve at positions at TESCON should take advantage and offer good service to the party.
Addressing a three day conference at the KNUST Law Faculty last Saturday, Hajia Samira called for the conscious sustenance of unity in the party and rallied for the conduct of clean campaigns ahead of the upcoming presidential primaries.
“I urge you to be guided by the many examples we have in the party of sacrifice and commitment knowing that you would also be rewarded when you serve well”, wife of the Veep stated.
Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer:
Raphael Sarfo Patrick, the Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser welcoming delegates and guests to the conference called for a renewed commitment to the course of the NPP.
He noted that the party needed the knowledge and energy of the youth to push its policies and market the programmes and projects of the NPP.
The Regional organiser promised to use all avenues to resource the youth and student wing so that they could carry out their initiatives on campus and across the country during election years.
“The theme for this conference speaks to our resolve which is to work together by building our capacities so that we can break the 8 year government cycle in 2024”, the Youth Organiser intimated.
National Organizer:
Taking his turn to address the conference, Henry Nana Boakye, national organiser of the NPP urged TESCON leaders on various campuses to continue to imbibe the traits of commitment and hardwork in its members.
He stated that those who serve well will be rewarded by the party just as he has been graciously honored by NPP.
National Youth Organizer:
Salam Mustapha, national youth organiser of the party commended the Ashanti Regional Youth Wing and TESCON members for their conduct during the conference and urged them to put into practice the training they had been given at the three day conference.
Scholarship Secretariat CEO:
Dr Kingsley Agyemang, Executive Director at the Scholarships secretariat commended TESCON for their continued sacrifices and dedication to the NPP.
He noted that in due time all persons who showed those traits will be rewarded by the party.
He commended the Ashanti Regional Youth Wing for organising an impressive conference which seems to have reinvigorated the elements within the party.
“I see a renewed hope in the party and I am sure that from this conference we will hold together and work to retain power in 2024”, Dr Agyemang stated.
