Portugal approach Mourinho with Managerial job
Portugal are looking to part ways with Fernando Santos following their most recent elimination from the World Cup.
Similarly to Spain – who appointed U21 coach Luis de la Fuente as manager – Portugal are thinking of giving a step up to their youth coach Rui Jorge.
On the other hand, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the national team have also approached Roma boss Jose Mourinho.
According to the newspaper, Portugal have even gone as far as offering Mourinho the possibility of sharing club and country coaching duties at the same time. The deal would be very complicated, but the Special One is reportedly intrigued by this prospect.
