I have applied for the Black Stars job 3 times, not ready to pay – Abdul Razak (Video)
Former Asante Kotoko coach, Abdul Razak has revealed that he has applied for the Black Stars coaching job three times and have all been rejected.
Speaking on Kessben TV, Abdul Razak stressed he has a fantastic CV which makes him more qualified to be handed the national football team but the powers that be are perhaps blinded to see his qualities.
He recounted that a sports journalist who is very close to the Ghana Football Association once chanced on the CV he submitted to the GFA and told him that he has a fine CV which makes him more qualified for the job but the FA are not going to give him the job.
“I have applied for the job three times and I’m not a stranger. Three times and all thrown away.
A journalist I don’t want to mention his name called me and said, coach, I have seen the CV you submitted, a very good CV but they won’t give you the job.
I have everything, I don’t lack anything with coaching. I have experience here and even more experience outside Ghana. Why is it that I don’t deserve to be the Black Stars coach? I just don’t know.
Football is about winning. You can be a coach for 10 years and if you are not winning, winning trophies, it comes to nothing.
What do we want? For me, I don’t believe in that, I don’t have to pay before the job is given to me. At least I can be involved, with the team, in spirits, with my experience at least be part of the management (technical team) Legendary Abdul Razak said.
