Davido To Perform At The Closing Ceremony Of The 2022 FIFA World Cup
Nigerian singer Davido, has been reported to be performing at the closing ceremony of the ongoing World Cup in Qatar on December 18.
The news was revealed by Stephen Hung on Thursday. Stephen disclosed the information on his Instagram story.
In the story, Hung posted a picture of the musician and wrote above it, “So happy my brother @davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there”
This will be Davido’ first public performance since the death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Davido’s son, Ifeanyi died after he drowned in the family’s swimming pool in November this year. He was only three years old.
Davido was inconsolable after the death of his son. However, the singer was seen smiling again after he finally tied the knot with his estranged girlfriend, Chioma.
