Kumasi: Methodist woman returns GHC20,000 found at a lorry station to the owner (Video)
Maame Serwaa, a cleaner, and second hands cloth seller at Pankronon Methodist lorry station in the Old Tafo municipal did return a whopping GHC 20,000.00 found during her usual cleaning up at the lorry terminal station in Kumasi, Pankrono.
Speaking to Kessben FM’s Ato Kwamena, the head pastor of True worshippers Assemblies of God church who is the owner of the money said he was shocked when the lady returned the money to him which reminds him that, there are many sincere Christians in the world.
He took the opportunity to advise Ghanaians to be honest and faithful no matter what economic challenges they are confronted with.
Maame Serwaa stressed that she was taught through the teachings of her pastors at Methodist church Ghana not to take anything that doesn’t belong to her.
She expressed worry about how some of her colleagues at the lorry station discouraged her not to return the money.
The mother of Maame Serwaa, Madam Sophia Asamoah added that she advised her daughter to return the money to the owner based on their religious background.
