I thank God I’m no longer at the railway ministry – Joe Ghartey

Immediate past Minister of railways development, Hon Joe Ghartey has expressed profound gratitude to God following his departure from the ministry.

According to the former deputy speaker of Parliament during the erstwhile President Kuffour’s administration, his job at the ministry of railway wasn’t an easy task, stating he’s grateful to God for seeing him through.

Hon Joe Ghatey speaking in an interview with Accra-based Kessben 92.9 FM said, for him anything that happens he believes is a will of God thus thank the Almighty God that it happened.

“I thank God he gave me the job, I thank God I’m longer there. Because anything that happens in my life is the will of God. Anything that happens on this earth, I thank God. God knows best.” He said.

The member of Parliament for Essikado divulged that he’s been a lawyer by profession but has stopped going to court to practice due to some other businesses he runs which keeps him very busy.

“By the grace of God right now I’m also doing one or two things. I’m a lawyer but I have stopped going to court. Thankfully my wife is a lawyer and my daughter has become a lawyer too” He added.
