For Immediate Release.

I congratulate all appointed MMDCEs across the country, following the official announcement by government.

It is obvious that your appointments have gone through a painstaking process to ensure that the Party and Government achieve its developmental programmes for your respective constituents.

This is the time to immediately refocus and rally the support of your compatriots and competitors for the huge task ahead.

I urge you all to draw wider circles to accommodate all and sundry, particularly those who may have opposed your candidature.

All MMDCEs remain critical actors in ensuring the NPP makes history in the next general elections by working very hard to break the 8. Therefore, you must be magnanimous in your celebrations and reconciliatory in your judgements.

I humbly appeal to all those aspirants who may be feeling disappointed, to see the disapproval of their candidature as a difficult test of loyalty and equally a unique opportunity to demonstrate their unwavering support for the Party and Government.

We remain one big elephant family and we cannot afford to take any steps that may undermine each other, the Party or Government. The future of Ghana under an NPP Government, holds greater prospects for all of us. Let’s remain united to break the 8.

—Signed—-

Dr. Charles Dwamena (Dr. China) NPP National Treasurer Hopeful.
