Rising fuel Cost: Courier Association To Increase Charges
The President for the National Courier Association, Kwame Bekoe has disclosed to Kessben news exclusively the intentions of the courier association in sustaining the business.
Drivers across the country have seen a dramatic increase in fuel prices over the past few months, drivers are dealing with having to pay extortionate pump prices to fill up their vehicles, while commuters and consumers are forced to pay extra fares for the exchange of goods and services.
Kwame Bekoe, the president for the association says consumers should be ready to embrace themselves with extra charges in the exchange of goods and services which this is due to the increase of fuel pumps in the oil market. Despite the slight reduction in pumps, this doesn’t change the intentions of the courier association, this according to him is to sustain and strengthen the courier industry.
In his address, he has called on all consumers to keep patronizing their business since they are currently engaging with stakeholders to bring hope to its customers.
He has therefore called on government to intervene as a measure to sustain the courier business.
