AR: Thieves loot musical instruments of Action Chapel Church
A brand new set of musical instruments bought on credit by the Glorious Action Chapel, Twedie branch, have been looted by thieves.
The theft was discovered last Wednesday but the entire congregation got wind of it on Sunday when they attended church service and were shocked to hear the sad news.
The head Pastor of the church, Rev. Stephen Kwabena Agyei who narrated the incident to our reporter Asumadu Darkwah that the instruments were purchased at a cost of 25,000 ghana cedis but with the current rate of inflation which is in an all-time high;
The church has to look for between 35 to 40 thousand Ghana cedis to settle its accumulated debt owed to the supplier.
Rev Kwabena Agyei said the location of the church has made it an easy target of thieves and called on the police to beef up security in the area.
He said the evidence so far gathered gives a strong indication that the theft of the church’s property was masterminded by some “area boys”.
