Abnormality has been normalized – Andy Kerm reacts to Otto Addo’s 26-man squad (Video)
Ghana Black Stars coach head Otto Addo on Monday 14th November 2022. officially named a 26-man squad for the Qatar 2022 Worldcup.
Notable absentees from the squad were Jeffery Schlup, Joseph Painstil, and Afenya Gyan.
The Ghana Premier League was represented as it had two home-based footballers selected for the tournament, Afriyie Barnie of Hearts of Oak and Danlad Ibrahim of Asante Kotoko.
The head coach of the Black Stars Otto Addo took some time off after the announcement and had a questions and answers section for the journalists.
Many Ghanaians reckon the answers by the head coach after the announcement were not satisfactory enough.
Andy Kerm reacting to the squad announcement stressed that it was not necessary to have held that questions and answers section because the coach said nothing with his answers.
“The program should have come to an end right after the announcement. The coach came to answer nothing. The “let’s be quiet and support thing” is the reason why the nation has gone 40 years without a trophy. Abnormality has been normalized” Said Andy Kerm.
