Put away pride, come down and learn – Dr Ayisi Boateng to Vincent Ekow Assafuah

The former High Commissioner to South Africa, Dr Ayisi Boateng has Blasted the member of Parliament for the Tafo_Pankrono constituency, Vincent Ekow Assafuah over his Facebook comment made earlier this week about the appointment of the Director General Of Ghana Education Service, Eric Nkansah.

According to Dr Ayisi Boateng, Mr. Assafua should be mindful of the way he has started. He said he should put away pride and learn more.

Mr. Ayisi Boateng said, Mr. Ekow Assafuah is too young to begin with this kind of attitude.

He said it is the duty of him as a Member of Parliament to propagate the good news of the NPP government to the masses rather than going this unfortunate tangent.

He described his behavior as shameless which he should desist from it as early as possible to help him grow as far as politics are concerned.

Mr. Ayisi Boateng who is the founding father of Npp said Mr. Assafuah is a disgrace to the youth of the New Patriotic Party and the country at large since he is blocking their opportunities with his attitude.

The former high commissioner of South Africa was reacting to the strike action by the three teacher unions; GNAGRAT, GNAT, and CCT.

Speaking to Kwame Appiah Kubi ( MR. Speaker) on the Kessben Morning show( Maakye), he stated that Assafuah was not an educationist yet he was appointed as the Director of Communications to the GES, so what would make him react in this manner over president’s appointment?

He further urged MR. Assafuah to be careful with How he has started.

He also urged Ghanaians to desist from the self-centered and selfish attitude that is declining the country.

He again entreated all parents to wake up and fight the teacher unions for the unlawful strike action they are embarking on now.

Speaking on the internal wranglings of the NPP, Mr Ayisi Boateng said the communications chain of the party has broken and it has paved the way for the youth to speak to elders of the party any way they like, a situation he described as inappropriate and unfortunate.
