C/R: Missing driver, 28, killed, head cut off & dumped in SHS uncompleted building
A 28-year-old driver has been killed and dumped in an uncompleted Senior High School building at Ajumako Mando in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region.
According to a report filed by Kessben Media’s Nana Tawiah, the victim Bernard Botwey was a taxi driver who work from Ekumfi Esaakyir taxi station to Ajumako but about three days now he was nowhere to be found.
He was reportedly last seen on Saturday October 29, 2022 in the evening around 7:00 PM when 3 men were on board his taxi from Ekumfi Esaakyir to Enyan Abaasa but never returned back to work.
The drivers and the family reported the incident to the police Station and was however not found.
On Tuesday, November 1, 2022 in the afternoon around 2:00 PM, some people around the School smelled a strange odour so they traced and found an almost rotten dead body of a human.
They reported it to the Ajumako District Police Station and it was found out that it was this missing taxi driver Bernard Botwey popularly as “Wire”.
After a medical Examination, the body was found to have been tied with a rope and with a Cutlass wound in his body as his head was cut off and stripped naked by yet-to-be-known persons.
According to eyewitnesses, it appears he struggled with the unknown suspect.
The body has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and Preservation whiles the case is under investigation at the Ajumako District Police Command.
The taxi with registration number GT-6188-20 was also taken away by the men.
