REVEALED: Black Stars players took only $1000 each for the Brazil Nicaragua games (Video)
Ghana football association executive committee member, Frederick Acheampong has revealed that the Black Stars players who were called up for the recent past friendly games with Brazil and Nicaragua took $2000 from two games.
Frederick Acheampong debunked social media reports that suggest the football federation financed the games with money given by the Finance Ministry of Ghana.
Speaking on Kessben FM’s Midfield Action with Sir Joe Laka, Fred Achie rubbished the social media reports claiming Ghana sponsored the two games.
He reiterated that Ghana even earn something from the gate proceeds of the two games.
He stressed that prior to the two friendly games, not even a penny was given to the Football Association by the ministry of finance.
