It is our taxes that are used to pay you – Spare parts dealers give a one-week ultimatum to Murtala Mohammed over disrespectful comment
The concerned spare parts dealers association of Ghana has issued one week ultimatum to the MP for Tamale Central, Murtala Mohammed to retract the disrespectful comment he made about their job.
The MP for Tamale Central, Murtala Mohammed reacting to Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu’s back and forth with the speaker of parliament over the issue of Hon Adwoa Safo said When Bagbin was practising law, Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu was selling spare parts.
“Kyei Mensah Bonsu has a penchant for attacking the Speaker. And he does that with alacrity. We want to serve notice to him, that we will not allow him to disrespect the Right Honourable Speaker.
And he said that Bagbin doesn’t understand the law. Honourable Bagbin has been in practice as a lawyer for several years. At a time when was practising, you Kyei were selling spare parts at Magazine. That’s what you were doing”, Hon Murtala said.
The comment of MP has triggered the spare parts dealers especially those in the Ashanti region.

Mr Addai stressed they are giving the MP one week ultimatum to retract his comment and do the needful or they will storm the parliarment house.
