Kotoko’s failed International friendly: It’s not necessary to circulate a letter of warning – Andy Kerm
Asante Kotoko apparently released a letter on Thursday 27th October 2022 warning people that they will be sued if they spread falsehoods about their canceled international friendly game with Belize.
Asante Kotoko was scheduled to play the central American nation Belize in November 2022 but the game had to be cancelled after the host pulled out.
Sports pundit Andy Kerm reacting to Asante Kotoko’s letter said it is in the right order for the management to protect the image of the club but not too important to be circulating a notice telling people that they will sue them over falsehood.
“I agree they need to protect the image of the club. The brand of Asante Kotoko is huge, very big. Kotoko is all over the place. The brand drives sponsorships to the club etc.
I agree that if anyone says otherwise they can take the person on but I don’t think it was even necessary to circulate this letter” Andy said.
