I was scared of becoming a pastor – Lord Kenya (Video)
Rev. Evangelist Lord Kenya, the founder of Face of Grace Ghana has said to be scared when he decided to become a pastor.
He explained that he was afraid of the unknown and the sensitization that could come after changing ways but he is no more afraid of his new faith by the Grace of God. His seeing the realities of life helped him to be courageous to move on with his faith.
He further emphasized the importance of relationships in Christianity as he and the late Daasebre Dwamena could be considered brothers.
They had literally shared everything together till he passed away.
The musician-turned-pastor revealed his worry as the death of Daasebre taught him a lesson that, life is short no matter how long you live.
He advised the youth to always remember loved ones before losing them. He also admonished the youth, to not decide to go into music before turning to God as he did because of the risks of not surviving.
He made this statement known when speaking on Kessben TV’s entertainment show Music plus hosted by Nana Osei Kese( Mr Bonez).
