A/R: Drunkards hit hard as senior palm wine tapper found dead at a river bank (Video)
An experienced palm wine tapper in Mamponteng in the Ashanti region who was known as Foster aka Efo has been found dead.
According to the clients of the late Foster, for about a week now nobody knew his whereabout.
After days of searching, the palm wine tapper was eventually found dead at an edge of a river by some children who rushed to inform the elderly.
Eyewitnesses who saw his body at the scene underscored that the body had decayed to the point nearly not recognizable noting that he might have passed away 4 or 5 days ago.
The residents say Foster who hails from the Volta Region and migrated to Mamponten decades ago is one of the best palm wine tappers they have seen.
