Konongo: Pregnant woman dies in a Galamsey pit (Video)
A young woman believed to be in her twenties passed away after he got trapped in Galamsey pit at Asante Akyem Central, Konongo Dumasi.
The woman who has only been identified as Fausty according to intelligence gathered by Kessben TV indicates she was 3 months pregnant.
Fausty apparently went to visit her family at Asante Akyem where she got trapped in the Galamsey pit.
Eyewitnesses say she got trapped while bathing at the house where illegal mining activities had been happening.
Sadly in some parts of Ghana today, illegal mining activities have moved from the bushes to houses.
