Youth in Ejura entreated to be law-abiding
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, who also double as MP for Asante Mampong Hon Kwaku Ampratwum Sarpong has urged the residents of Ejura Sekyere Duumasi municipality, especially the youth to maintain peace among themselves .
He emphasized that without peace, the development would be retarded and to make Ejura a better place for all, hence, atrocities committed in the municipality should cease by being law-abiding.
Due to the high crime rate in the Ejura municipality last year, this year’s Sekyerene festival was centred on peace and appealing for funds for the completion of the Divisional Police Headquarters in Ejura started by the Chief.
The Deputy Foreign Minister urged the youth to take advantage of the free SHS which has come to stay to better their lives instead of engaging in atrocities.
Speaking at the event, Barima Osei Hwedie II, Ejuramanhene used the occasion to reiterate to the youth to always be law-abiding citizens as said by the dignitaries.
It was his prayer that Ejuraman will develop in terms of having enough social amenities and quality education.
To support the whole initiative started by the king of Ejura, in the completion of the Divisional Police headquarters, other important dignitaries made it to the programme.
The chief through his representative, the Nifahene of the Ejura Traditional Council, Nana Osei Kwadwo Ansebio II expressed his profound gratitude to the people who made it and supported the program either in cash or material.
