CAF Confederation cup: Hearts of Oak will qualify – Alhaji Akambi
Accra Hearts of Oak will host Malian side AS Real Bamako at the Accra sports stadium for the return leg of the confederation cup on Sunday, 16th October 2022.
The phobians were beaten by the 3-0 in the first leg in Mali but the board member of the club, Alhaji Akambe is optimistic the Accra Hearts of Oak will overturn the 3-0 goals deficit at the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday.
Speaking on Kessben TV, Alhaji Akambe stated the Malian side is no extraordinary side and not better than Hearts of Oak.
“It is going to be difficult but Hearts of Oak will qualify Insha Allah. They were not extraordinary or better than us.
But in football, if you get your chances and do not take utilize them, your opponent will definitely punish you. That was exactly what happened.
The players alone cannot do it so urge our supporters to come to the stadium in numbers to cheer the team on to a victory that will qualify us” Alhaji said.
