It is not every case that you pursue, Obiri Boahen bash ex-NPP Chairman Freddie Blay for defending Aisha Huang’s accomplices (Video)
Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party Obiri Boahen has said it wrong for the former Chairman of the NPP Freddie Blay’s law firm to have accepted to defend the accomplices of Aisha Huang in court over their alleged involvement in illegal mining in Ghana.
Obiri Boahen speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Nyakoh Abronomah noted that as a law firm, you just don’t pursue any case.
He said that he would not have pursued this case for the defendant if he was to be approached because of obvious reasons.
He indicated that it defeats the purpose of how the New Patriotic Party intend to fight the Galamsey in Ghana.
The four accomplices who are being defended by Mr Blay’s law firm are Gao Jin Cheng, Lu Qi Jun, Haibin Go and Zhang Zhipeng.
