I will urge Kotoko to continue starting Mukwala, He’s a good player – Franko Naro

Veteran Sports journalist, Frank Owusu Ansah has urged Kumasi Asante Kotoko not to drop their new forward Steven Mukwala amid calls by a section of the club’s supporters for the technical team to drop Mukwala and give opportunities to other new forwards the club signed.

The Ugandan forward since joining the Kumasi-based football club has been struggling to find the goalpost so far in games he has featured in.

Franko Naro speaking on Extra Time Sports after Kotoko’s 2-1 win over Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara stadium encouraged the handlers of the team to continue starting Mukwala in games.

“Yesterday I watched the game and I told myself that he just needs time. From what I saw he’s a good player. He only needs time.

I will urge Kotoko to continue playing him. Give him some 2,3 games and let him play away from the Baba Yara sports stadium and see” said Franko Naro.
