Nana Yaw Amponsah pockets 10% of every sponsorship he brings at Kotoko – BoD member reveals (Video
According to Bernard Ziel, a former BoD member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, the Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has been pocketing 10% of every sponsorship deal he brings to the club.
The former BoD member noted that a current BoD member of the club actually revealed the information to him.
Bernard Ziel speaking on Kessben TV said he wanted to find out the real issues affecting the finances of the club which prompted him to resort to the BoD member to furnish him with the happenings at the club.
The anonymous BoD member of the club bemoaned that the wage bill of the club’s management team has been draining the club which has been affecting the finances of the team.
“The BoD member also revealed to me that for every sponsorship that comes to the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah the CEO takes 10% of it aside his whopping salary.
That was the agreement they made with him and it’s really not helping the club while we need money to purchase quality players” the former BoD member of the club, Bernard Ziel, said on Kessben TV.
