Kejetia Dubai gets flooded by recent rains, items worth thousands of GHC destroyed (Video)
The first floor of the famous Kejetia Dubai market has been flooded for the past few days by the recent rainfall.
A shop operator who deals in cosmetic products at the Market speaking on Kessben FM’s Breaking News with Nyakoh Abronomah said at her shop only items worth GHC2000 have all been destroyed due to the flood.
She bemoaned that the signs of the flooding were apparently clear due to what they witnessed on Monday with some minutes of the rain but the authorities who they have complained to several times turned blind eyes to the signs.
The very recent rain which lasted about 10 hours from midnight on Wednesday has completely robbed them of their feet.
When they came to work on Wednesday morning, access to their various shops was challenging as the place had completely been flooded.
