Kotoko grossed GHC200,000 from Super Clash, Only 13,000 people purchased tickets electronically
Kumasi Asante Kotoko accrued a gross amount of GHC200,000 from the game against Accra Hearts of Oak Kessben Sports has been informed.
According to the first vice chairman of Asante Kotoko’s National Circles Council, Nana Kwame Dankwah, despite the number of people who were at the stadium, only 13,000 spectators paid to watch.
Nana Kwame Dankwah speaking on Kessben FM’s Extra Time Sports bemoaned that there were challenges with the E-ticketing system.
According to him, the electronic platform which is accessed to buy a ticket running to kickoffs experiences so many delays while purchasing tickets.
In view of the above others to advantage and take cash from spectators and allow them into the stadium without the money going to the coffers of the club.
After the kickoff whistle was blown, the gates had to be opened for free as there was so much traffic on the electronic platform.
