Referees have been determining games of Kotoko & Hearts in recent times – Andy Kerm
Sports analyst with Kessben Media Andy Kerm has stated that outcomes of Accra Hearts of Oak and Kotoko games have been determined by referees.
Andy speaking on Midfield Action after the game said he was very disappointed with the level of play.
“This is not about the interpretation of the rules for him to read and understand. For this one, he was there. The incident happened right in front of him, not one, not two, but three times and he ignored all that.
How can you tell me such a referee should go scot-free? I’m sorry. The sad aspect is that Kotoko and Hearts games in recent times have been determined by referees.
After everything, is the referee that determines the game. I was very disappointed yesterday. Andy said.
Referee Yao Bless has been widely criticised by many football fans. According to them, the official denied Asante Kotoko three penalties in the game. The game ended 1-1 at the Baba Yara stadium.
