Assin: Community members jubilate as a 34-year- old man is sentenced to death by hanging (Video)
A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to death by hanging for committing murder at Assin Fosu in the Central region of Ghana.
According to Kessben FM’s reporter in the central region, the convict, Kofi Adjei had an altercation with the deceased.
Kofi Adjei widely known as Chilling is reported to have stabbed the deceased with a pair of scissors during the altercation.
During the court proceedings, Kofi pleaded guilty to the charges which were pressed against him.
The Cape Coast High court thus sentenced Adjei to death by hanging.
After his sentence, many members of the community were so excited about the news of his sentence noting that it was not the first time he had engaged in such a crime.
