Galamsey activities moved from the bushes to homes in Elubo (Video)
Some people in Elubo in the western region of Ghana are undertaking Illegal mining (Galamsey) in their homes.
The unthinkable move has put many lives of the residents at serious risk following the desire to find the precious stones in the mining community.
A section of the community members have apparently reported the development to the authorities in the Western region but it appears nothing seems to have been done as the activities continue unabated.
In a video sighted by Kessben TV, open mining was happening between houses, especially compound houses in the community.
According to Kessben FM’s reporter in Elubo, some of the residents unfortunately have consented for their spaces to be used for such.
