Pentecost elder commits suicide (Video)
A 53-year-old Pentecost elder who has been identified as elder Obeng James has been found dead after he reportedly committed suicide at Bia east in the Eastern region of Ghana.
The Assemblyman of the area, Kwabena Ntekiah who confirmed the news to Kessben TV, noted that the reason why the late Pentecost elder committed suicide is to be known.
According to his wife, she had no quarrel with him at home and did not also have any issues with people outside their home.
The wife reiterated even the morning before the incident happened, her husband went as usual to the farm and returned home with some foodstuffs.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Burden of Disease study estimate that almost 800,000 people die from suicide every year.
