Ellembelle DCE appears before court (Video)
District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ellembelle, Kwasi Bonzo, appeared before the Takoradi Circuit Court on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
He appeared together with the other three suspects who are alleged to be involved in attacking the police and obstructing an operation to retrieve the missing excavators.
The DCE was apparently detained for over 12 hours and was later granted bail while his 3 accomplices remained in police custody.
The DCE was charged with five counts including assault, conspiracy to commit assault and resisting arrest.
