The current Black Stars squad is the weakest ever to represent Ghana at Worldcup – Kessben FM’s Awal Mohammed (Video)

Ghanaian football historian and sports analyst, Awal Mohammed avers the current Black Stars team is the weakest ever in the history of Ghana to represent the nation at a Worldcup.

Awal speaking with Joe Laka on Midfied Action said the current Black Stars team will be ranked lowest among the other 3 squads which had represent Ghana in previous years.

From the Goalkeeping department to the forlines of the team, Awal reckons there is a huge gap between the this current team and the previous worldcup squads.

Senior sports pundit Frank Owusu Ansah reacting to Awal’s assertion stressed that he agrees with him 100%.

Ghana first Worldcup was the 2006 Worldcup held in Germany. In 2010, Ghana played their second Worldcup tournament in South Africa and played in the Brazil 2014 Worldcup.

The Black Stars failed to qualify for the 2018 Worldcup in Russia. The Qatar 2022 World is is set to commence in November with Ghana’s fourth time participating in the World’s biggest football tournament.

Black Stars coach has named a 29 man squad for the Brazil and Nicaragua friendly ahead of the Worldcup. 95% of the Squad will be in the Ghana 2022 Worldcup squad .
