Kessben Sports crew divided over the Greatest Ghanaian Football Club, Kotoko or Hearts? (WATCH)
On Friday’s questions and answers edition of Midfield Action on Kessben FM/TV, the quick-witted sports crew reacted to a question sent by a viewer asking between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak which is the greatest football club in Ghana.
The sports crew laid out their candid opinions about the close-to-call.
Frank Owusu Ansah aka Frank Naro opined that in terms of infrastructure, Accra Hearts of Oak per their recent projects is ahead of Asante Kotoko but was quick to add that Asante Kotoko has trophies to show in terms of laurels.
On the support base, Frank Naro noted that it will be difficult to call due to the lack of data about the support base of the two leading clubs.
Frederick Acheampong who is also an executive member of the Ghana Football Association noted that with available data by the National Sports Authority furnished to the GFA, Accra Hearts outnumbered Asante Kotoko at the home games in the just-ended season.
Andy Kerm adding his voice said that to be great in football it is mainly about the trophies won which should be considered.
